Free delivery is available on all orders with a qualifying subtotal of €200 or more after discounts, excluding delivery charges. It applies to all products and order weights, for destinations available at checkout, including local delivery in the Lisbon area where offered. No discount code is required. Full details are set out in our Shipping Policy.

These Terms of Service govern the use of mounttea.store and purchases made through our online store.

MOUNTTEA × LOVA specialises in Chinese tea, tea culture, teaware, accessories and related products.

Products available through our store may include:

• Chinese loose-leaf tea
• Pressed tea and pu-erh
• Tea-related food products
• Teaware and brewing accessories
• Gift sets and related products

2. Products and product information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, origins, harvest years, weights, ingredients and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Tea is a natural agricultural product. Therefore, its appearance, colour, aroma, flavour, leaf shape and other characteristics may vary slightly between batches and harvests.

Product photographs are provided for illustrative purposes. Minor differences between photographs and the product received do not necessarily constitute a defect.

The actual net weight and other mandatory product information provided on the product packaging or product page shall apply.

3. Prices

All prices displayed on our website are shown in euros (€).

Prices include applicable VAT where required by Portuguese law, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated and displayed during checkout before the customer confirms the order.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Any price change will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

In the event of an obvious pricing, technical or typographical error, we reserve the right to correct the error and, where necessary, cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

4. Orders

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that the information provided during checkout is accurate and complete.

After placing an order, you will receive an electronic confirmation.

An order may be refused or cancelled where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:

• product unavailability
• obvious pricing or technical errors
• suspected fraudulent transactions
• inability to process payment
• incorrect or insufficient delivery information

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the amount paid for the cancelled products will be refunded.

5. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment service providers. Customers are subject to any applicable terms and security procedures of those payment providers.

An order may not be processed until payment has been successfully authorised.

6. Shipping and delivery

We deliver within Portugal and to other destinations where delivery is made available during checkout.

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and shipping costs are displayed during checkout where applicable.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, public holidays, adverse weather conditions or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information.

7. Right of withdrawal and returns

Consumers purchasing online generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving their order, without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions established by applicable Portuguese and European Union law.

For food safety and hygiene reasons, tea and other food products may not be eligible for return after sealed packaging has been opened or otherwise compromised where the applicable legal requirements for such an exception are met.

This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights regarding products that are defective, damaged, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming.

8. Damaged, defective or incorrect products

Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and, where appropriate, photographs of the product and packaging.

We will handle complaints and remedies in accordance with applicable Portuguese consumer protection law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers.

9. Tea storage and preparation

Customers should follow the storage and preparation recommendations provided with the product or on our website.

Tea should generally be stored in appropriate conditions, protected from excessive moisture, heat, sunlight and strong odours.

Brewing instructions and recommendations provided on our website are intended as guidance. Tea preparation may be adjusted according to personal preference and brewing method.

10. Product availability

Products are subject to availability.

Because some of our teas are sourced in limited quantities, specific harvests, batches or products may become unavailable.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer and offer an appropriate solution, such as a refund or an alternative product where agreed with the customer.

We will not substitute a product without the customer’s agreement.

11. Promotions and discount codes

From time to time, we may offer promotional prices, discount codes, bundles or other promotions.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions:

• cannot be exchanged for cash
• may be limited in duration or quantity
• may have specific eligibility requirements
• may not be combined with other promotions

Specific promotional conditions displayed at the time of the promotion will apply.

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including photographs, text, graphics, logos, branding, product descriptions and other original materials, belongs to ETEREO ECLIPSE, LDA or is used with appropriate permission.

These Terms and purchases made through our store are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under European Union law.

Consumers retain the right to use the competent courts and dispute resolution mechanisms available to them under applicable law.

In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may use an applicable Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution entity (RAL — Resolução Alternativa de Litígios de Consumo) in Portugal.
