Tea is the heart of Mounttea. We keep coming back to the taste, the little differences from one cup to the next, and the simple pleasure of finding a tea you want to make again tomorrow. There’s room for an easy daily favourite and for a slower, more curious afternoon.

HELLO FROM ALENA & ILYA
First,
hello.
We’re the two people behind Mounttea. We also run Lova, our café and flower world in Lisbon. We’ve built things side by side for years, and much of our life is spent around a table: tasting something, talking through an idea, or making room for one more person.
At Lova, Alena brings the flavours, flowers and visual details to life. Ilya looks after the people, systems and daily rhythm that keep it all moving. Mounttea is another way for us to share what we enjoy, this time through tea.
We drink this tea ourselves. We want it to feel easy to take home, make often, and share in your own way.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT OUR WORLD
You may know us
from Lova.
Before Lova had a door to walk through, Alena baked cakes for friends simply because she loved doing it. Flowers first appeared in the photographs, then became part of the gifts themselves. In Lisbon, those things found a home together.
Today Lova is our café: coffee, breakfast, cake and flowers, with people coming and going and a team that makes the place feel alive. Mounttea grew alongside that world, with a focus of its own. It’s where we give tea the same kind of attention: leaves we’re happy to drink again, objects we want to use, and the freedom to make the ritual yours.
